Hi, I’m Karen, Founder and Senior Personal Insurance Adviser at BrooKes Financial UK, a trading style of SLC Complete Ltd.

My reason for working in personal insurance is personal. Our own family experienced first-hand how quickly life can change, and it completely changed the way I looked at financial protection.

Today, I help individuals, families and business owners understand what they already have in place, what they might need and, just as importantly, what they don’t need. Sometimes that means arranging something new, and sometimes it means reassuring someone that what they already have is absolutely fine.

I’m based in Teesside and work with clients across the UK. Outside work, I’m married with two grown-up sons and two very spoilt Shih Tzus who are fairly convinced they run the house.

For me, it’s simple — no jargon, no pressure, just straightforward, personal advice and someone you can come back to when life changes.
